Jesus gathered together regular people; nothing exceptional about any one of them, except that they heard the call of one exceptional Man, and followed.

Jesus poured his life into these people. They walked were he walked, slept where he slept, and ate what he ate. They were amazed at his authority, bewildered by his teaching, and disturbed by his boldness; but, they followed him and he filled them with his love while challenging them to love one another. He discipled them and equipped them. Then, he died for them and transformed their lives. Jesus built these followers into a community that would make history.

We believe Jesus is extending this same invitation to a new generation. You who are called to lead in the new millennium are facing challenging times, and it will be much different for you. You will need vision and passion. You will need an intimate relationship with God. And you will need a love for all people that will move you to confront confusion with truth, despair with hope, and apathy with great urgency.

History Makers is a community committed to changing the world together. We recognize that throughout history, true change happens only as regular people rise, surrendered to Jesus and filled with his Holy Spirit, to do "far more abundantly than all we can ask or think by his power at work within us."

Jesus is calling out, "Come, follow me!" He will equip you. He will transform your life.

Cost $300
Registration fees cover van transportation from the airport to Camp Tejas and back; meals and snacks throughout the conference, accommodations for five nights, and all conference materials.

IMPORTANT: 

If you are driving: Please plan to arrive at Camp Tejas for registration between from 3:30 to 4:45 on Sunday, March 18.

If you are flying: Please schedule your flight to arrive at the Houston Int'l Airport (IAH) on Sunday, March 18 before 2:00pm. We will have transportation from IAH to the conference center (Camp Tejas), leaving the airport at approximately 2:30pm. The conference will conclude at 12:30 pm on Friday, so please schedule your flight to depart the IAH airport on Friday, March 23 after 3:30pm. This will allow us time to provide transportation from Camp Tejas to the IAH airport.

The lodging arrangements are bunkhouses so please pack a towel, sheets and/or a blanket, and a pillow.
